The old lady is a butterfly fighter. In 3012, she was one of the opponents who beat Leela and Amy before they beefed up on Nectar (7ACV06).
Production
In June 2012, Countdown to Futurama introduced the old lady through a character design (released on 2 June) [1] and revealed some information about her - such as the fact that "she [showed] up very briefly" and the fact that she was one of two old ladies - through the fifth Futurama podcast (released on 5 June). [2]

- In the podcast, Futurama executive producer David X. Cohen joked that there "may have to be a spin-off" for the two old ladies - which he called Grandmothers on the Wing.
