Trivia: I don't think that electricity can be said to be the equivalent of marijuana for robots. In Hell Is Other Robots it appears to be more akin to heroin. I think that the term 'narcotic' would be more appropriate.

edit: I read that in the show's country of origin that the term narcotic generally refers to a substance's legal status rather than its medicinal properties. Perhaps the phrase 'It has a psychoactive effect on robots.' would be better.
