Talk:Universe Γ

Should this be a redirect to Parallel Universes or what? An article like this seems rather futile. Though, on the other hand, it may be interesting to discuss this universe compared to the other ones.

Though, again, that could be handled in the Parallel Universes article with a section dedicated to that field. I am a bit in doubt myself, perhaps someone else has further opinion. And for the record, the other name is Universe A. --Sviptalk 14:10, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Technically, Universe A/Gamma isn't a parallel universe. Not that I'm sure what to do with the article from here on. The choice of Gamma over A is probably good. Only the Planet Express staff know the "Universe A" name, whereas the entire population knows this name. - Quolnok 14:27, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
A compromise could be "This universe". Though, that sort of stinks. Actually, Universe Gamma is a fair compromise, but mention of alternative names should be available - obviously. --Sviptalk 14:30, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Although, there is a temptation to use the more Greek "Universe Γ". - Quolnok 14:37, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
so thats a yes for redirect?--I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 06:32, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
We seem to have come to a conclusion of "try to keep it". - Quolnok 11:34, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
That is my vote too. Rewrite it, but keep it. --Sviptalk 12:31, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Gamma?

Presumably, Yivo would call his own universe "Alpha", and he calls ours "Gamma" -- Gamma is the third letter of the greek alphabet. That implies there may be a Universe Beta somewhere, the second universe presumably encountered by Yivo. I know it's not worth mentioning in the article, as it's pure speculation, but I was just wondering if this had occurred to anyone else... --Buddy 08:30, 3 July 2011 (CEST)

That had not occured to me, but that's a cool thought. I wonder if the writers thought of it (otherwise it seems unusual to call it Alpha and Gamma). Big plan for season 7? :) - akitalk 16:35, 4 July 2011 (CEST)
