Dr. Banjo is a super intelligent orangutan and scientist, and the son of "hard-working, patriotic orangutans", and wears a brown jacket and a pair of glasses. He apparently knows Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, and is one of the leaders of the anti-evolution manifestants who blocked the Wozniak Nerd Academy in 3010. The Doctor confronted the Professor with Creation, but was later convinced that Evolution may be the answer, after having been set in motion by a powerful alien or a god, that is.

As of 3013, Banjo has become the zoo director of the City Zoo on Simian 7.

Quotes

The Professor: As a Professor of Science, I assure you we did in fact evolve from filthy monkey men.
Dr. Banjo: I cannot speak for you, sir. But my ancestors were not monkeys. They were orangutans. Hard working, patriotic orangutans.

Dr. Banjo: Things don't exist simply because you believe in them, thus sayeth the almighty creature in the sky!
