The Robotic dreidel fulfilling its purpose.
TypeHoliday-based toy
First appearance"The Futurama Holiday Spectacular" (6ACV13)

When celebrating Robanukah 3010, instead of spinning a dreidel like in Chanukah, Bender played a game with a droidel (6ACV13). Bender told Hermes that it is similar to a dreidel, except it is rigged to always make him win. The droidel does this by turning itself over with two Robotic arms in order to control which side it lands on.

Additional Info

  • The droidel only appeared in a non-canon segment, so it might not exist in the real universe.
  • A droid is the Star Wars equivalent of a Robot.
  • Shin, the letter that the droidel is rigged to, is the first letter of the word shalem, which means pay in Hebrew, and the word shenk, which means give in Yiddish.

Hermes: Do you spin a dreidel made from clay?
Bender: Mine is called a droidel and it's rigged to make you pay.
