Philip J. Fry II is Fry's nephew and Yancy's son, Philip II was first exposed to space ships when he was a newborn baby when his father hung Fry's picture of him on a spaceship. Little did Yancy know he was raising one of the worlds most famous and efficient men. He was a philantropist and an entrepenuer. He first won his fame when he struck oil in a mansion he won in a lottery. He had a fling with international super model Njörd. He even had a string of top 10 hits in his band Leaf Seven. Although he did many great things, his greatest accomplishment was being the first man to walk upon Mars.
He was named after Fry because Yancy loved Fry and wanted him to be remembered; he gave Fry's old seven leafed clover to his son which later became his trade mark. Philip became a world hero and he is currently resting at Orbiting Meadows National Cemetery. Either he or an unnamed sibling is a direct ancestor of Professor Farnsworth. as a toddler, where Bender would mistake him for his uncle/great-grandfather and try to kill him.
Originally, Philip J. Fry, II never would have met his uncle, but this changed because the time paradox duplicate of Philip J. Fry that became Lars Fillmore was around between 2000 and 2012. As a result of Philip J. Fry, I's return, it is possible that Philip J. Fry, II never received the seven leafed clover or was instead given it as a gift directly by Philip J. Fry, I. It is also likely that he was named after Philip J. Fry, I for different reasons (given his return).
