Sheriff Burley is the sheriff of Aldrin's Gulch, a town on the Moon. He works at the the town jail, and likes hanging people, such as the multiheaded monster.

- Sheriff Burley physically resembles and sounds like Don Knotts, who is well known for playing Deputy Barney Fife on The Andy Griffith Show as well as Mr. Furley on Three's Company.
