"The Futurama Holiday Spectacular"[3], originally titled "Holiday Val-U-Pak"[4], is the one hundred and first episode of Futurama, the thirteenth of the sixth production season and the seventh broadcast season. It will be the third seasonal episode so far,[5] though parts of Bender's Big Score exhibit seasonal themes. It is scheduled to air 21 November 2010.[1] It will guest star Al Gore as himself and Coolio as Kwanzaa-bot.[2]
Plot
The Planet Express crew races to preserve the traditional practices of the classic holidays of Xmas, Robanukah and Kwanzaa. Along the way, they encounter the murderous Kringlebot, Al Gore's Head-In-A-Jar, mutated pine trees, droidls, fembot wrestling, albino humping worms, Kwanzaabot and giant space bees, all while learning the true meaning behind the holidays... with an occasional song thrown in for good measure.[6]
This episode will be a Anthology of Interest-style episode focusing on three seasonal stories; one based on Xmas, one on Robanukah and one on Kwanzaa.[5]
